| Ken Ryder and Denise Baldwin had been running the Friends secondhand bookshop for several years in the Old Stables at Red House. Volunteers help collect, sort and display books, including fiction, non fiction and a children's selection; they also help supervise. The comfortable layout with bunting, smart bookshelves and a quirky corner make it an interesting place to visit. Books are priced to encourage quick turnover. | ||
